Contacting the Medical Screening Company:

If you contact the Medical Screening Company trained operators will ask you a few simple questions about your intended trip and the medical condition. You will be advised as to whether your Pre-Existing Medical Conditions can be covered, whether there will be an additional premium to pay or whether there are any changes to be made to the Policy terms and conditions.

If cover can be provided, You will be given an acceptance code and a letter will be sent to you upon receipt of payment, detailing the extension of cover where applicable. Please read this letter carefully and keep it with Your Policy Schedule as it confirms the terms of cover. Any payment for pre-existing medical condition cover is made to the Medical Screening Company.

MEDICAL SCREENING
Call: 0845 250 5374

IMPORTANT: Once cover for the pre-existing medical condition has been accepted by the Medical Screening Company you will need to complete your insurance by clicking the Buy Now button.

Note: The insurance will exclude claims where at the time of taking out this insurance or booking a trip, you, the insured, or anyone on whose health your travel plans depend, is travelling against the advice of a medical practitioner; is on a hospital waiting list or awaiting results of medical investigations; or has received a terminal prognosis.

Pregnancy

As is consistent with the treatment of all pre-existing medical conditions under the Policy, the Policy does not intend to cover the normal costs or losses otherwise associated with pregnancy (including multiple pregnancies) or childbirth. This includes, but is not limited to, delivery by caesarean section or any other medically or surgically assisted delivery which does not cause medical complications. The Policy does, however, cover You should complications arise with Your pregnancy due to Accidental injury or unexpected illness which occurs while on Your Trip.
