New Brunswick is the province located to the east of the country, between Nova Scotia and Quebec in the Appalachian mountain range. It borders Maine to the west and is one of the three Maritime provinces of Canada. 

 

It is also the official bilingual province of Canada (English and French).  The French speaking people are mostly of Acadian origin.  It boasts the longest covered bridge in the world. The capital city is Fredericton.

Crabbe Mountain

Crabbe Mountain is located in the southwestern part of the province.  It has New Brunswick’s highest elevation.   It offers Alpine and Nordic skiing, boarding, night skiing and a terrain park with half-pipe.  Annual average snowfall 120 inches and 53% snowmaking facility.  Child care is available, as well as lessons and rentals and lodging is available close by.

Poley Mountain

Poley Mountain is located in the southeastern part of the province between the three manor cities of New Brunswick: Saint John, Moncton and the capital city of Fredericton. Sugarloaf Provincial Park

Sugarloaf Provincial Park is located in the north part of the province.  There are 21.8 km of Nordic trails, as well as snowmobile and snowshoeing trails.  There is also a slide hill and outdoor skating arena.  Night skiing is available, tubing and there is a terrain park with a half-pipe.  Annual average snowfall 144 inches.  Lessons and rentals available as well as nearby lodging.
